On-loan Liverpool youngster Conor Bradley has claimed that Jurgen Klopp has been texting him throughout the season so far.
In quotes from the Irish Mirror, Bradley shared what the Liverpool boss has been saying to him during his spell at Bolton Wanderers.
“I didn’t really speak to him myself before I went out on loan, but I had texts from him, just saying go out and enjoy it, do your best and get as many games as possible,” said the 19-year-old. “We’ve got a group for all the loanees and he texts into it when I get an assist or I score or have played well.
“He and the coaches are always texting in, wishing us all the best for the games and saying well done if I score. That’s been massive that they’re still keeping in contact and want to know how I’m doing and settling in. It’s reassuring to know they are still thinking of you and Liverpool have been great that way.”
Bradley the best of Liverpool’s loan bunch so far
Of Liverpool’s players out on-loan this season, Bradley has probably been the pick of the bunch so far.
The Northern Ireland international slotted straight into the Bolton first eleven. So far, he’s started all of the Trotters nine games in League One, completing 90 minutes six times.
Bradley has managed two goals and two assists in that run, not bad for a right-back. The teenager also has two further appearances in the Carabao Cup, with a third goal of the season to his name.
Another player doing well away from Anfield is Tyler Morton. Also nineteen, Morton has found himself called up to the England U21 squad on the back of his displays with Blackburn Rovers.
Meanwhile, James Balagizi has also been doing well down in League Two with Crawley Town.
It’s encouraging to hear Klopp taking an active part in the youngster’s time away from the club. The boost that it will give them to know that the manager is keeping an eye on them can’t be underestimated.
For some, that will equal more pressure. But for the likes of Bradley, the chance to impress Klopp and his coaches is obviously spurring him on.
