Bolton Wanderers manager Ian Evatt has praised on-loan Liverpool right-back Conor Bradley’s start to life at the club.
Bradley continued his fine start at Bolton with a thunderous long-range strike in Tuesday’s Carabao Cup win over Salford City.
And in quotes from Manchester Evening News, Evatt said he was struggling to contain his excitement. It’s fair to say that he’s been impressed with the Liverpool youngster.
“I am trying to manage expectations with him, including his own, and trying to keep everyone’s feet on the ground… And then he goes and does something like that,” said the manager of Bradley’s goal. “It is kind of hard to give him a break. He is a talented lad and we’re pleased for him.”

Bradley hitting all the right notes so far
It hasn’t taken Bradley long to get his feet under the table at Bolton. The 19-year-old has slotted straight in as one of Evatt’s key players.
His goal on Tuesday was yet more evidence that his confidence is sky-high as he tastes consistent men’s club football for the first time.
If he can continue on this path, then the future looks bright for Bradley. He has already managed a handful of appearances for Liverpool. Prior to the arrival of Calvin Ramsay, he may even have had an eye on the back-up right-back slot.
Instead, a loan felt like the more sensible course of action. Bradley is already playing regularly for the senior Northern Ireland team too, and a move to Wanderers should supplement that nicely.

As with all of Liverpool’s loan players, Jurgen Klopp and his team will be kept up-to-date with their progress.
Some of that feedback will be more relevant than others, as Klopp keeps a watch over those who could play a part in the future. In Bradley’s case, the Liverpool coaches will no doubt be intrigued and impressed.
There’s a mightily long way to go before the full-back returns to Anfield next summer. Many things can happen between now and then, but he could hardly have started better. Keep it going, Conor!
