Manchester United are considering making an audacious move for Liverpool’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain this summer.
That’s according to journalist Alex Crook. Writing for TalkSPORT, Crook claims that Man United are planning a shock move for the Liverpool man.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is reportedly ‘desperate’ to leave Liverpool having fallen out of favour with Jurgen Klopp.
It’s claimed that United value the midfielder at around £10m. If Liverpool were to entertain an offer of that sort, the Red Devils would reportedly be ‘seriously interested.’

Southampton are mooted as other potential suitors for the 28-year-old. However they’re said to hold ‘concerns’ over his wage demands and injury record.
Don’t do it Ox!
Wow. Now this really would be a shock move. No player has moved between the two clubs since 1964.
Not only that, but Oxlade-Chamberlain no longer looks like a player who can consistently deliver for a top club.
Of course, United’s stock has fallen quite dramatically in recent years. Despite that, they still have designs on being a title-challenger.
With all due respect to Ox, he has fallen out of favour at Liverpool for a reason. Injuries have played a huge part, but he simply no longer looks like an option for a side with such lofty ambitions.

The price quoted seems fairly reasonable. Liverpool have surely long since accepted that they’d be taking a hit on the player who joined for £35m back in 2017.
With just a year left on his contract and moving towards his thirties, it’s probably about right. The Reds will reportedly listen to offers for their number 15 this summer.
Despite his lack of involvement, Oxlade-Chamberlain is still a well-liked figure in the dressing room and with the fans.
A move across the North-West to United would pretty much end those feelings from the supporters. Just ask Michael Owen. Don’t do it Ox!
