Gabby Agbonlahor thinks Trent Alexander-Arnold won’t enjoy playing for Liverpool in the Champions League final next weekend.
Speaking on TalkSPORT, the pundit feels the Liverpool defender will struggle to cope with Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior.
“You’ve got battles as well, look at Vinicius, he’s been a menace all year. Will Trent Arnold fancy defending against him? That won’t be a nice day at the office,” said Agonlahor.
“I think it’s going to be a tight game, but I couldn’t call it. I wouldn’t be certain Liverpool will beat Real Madrid.”
Somebody show Trent before the final, that’ll be sure to put some fire in his belly!
Write him off at your peril
Alexander-Arnold has been written off time and time again for his perceived lack of defensive capability.

Time and time again he has answered those questions emphatically. The latest being a superb defensive performance in the FA Cup final to keep Marcos Alonso and Christian Pulisic at bay.
Perhaps Vinicius represents a step up from that Chelsea left-hand side, but Trent won’t be fazed. Not one bit.
The 23-year-old has faced off against the best wingers in the world time and time again. Sure, he has come off second best sometimes, but look how many defenders Luis Diaz, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah have made look foolish over the years. It happens.
There’ll be times when Vinicius might get the better of him at the Stade de France. There’ll be others when Trent wins the battle. These are the kind of tussles that full-backs live for, and the Scouser is no different – Liverpool’s number 66 is as competitive as they come.
Already set to play in his third Champions League final, Alexander-Arnold has vastly more experience at this level than Vinicius. He’ll have to use every bit of that to ensure the Madrid man is kept quiet next Saturday.
If Trent can do that, he has every chance of collecting his second winners medal in this most prestigious competition.
