Liverpool look all set to announce the signing of Fabio Carvalho from Fulham.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano’s latest update via his YouTube channel. Romano claims that The Reds have agreed a fee totalling £7.7m with Fulham and Carvalho will sign a five year contract.
The journalist also posted the update on his Instagram page. And Liverpool fans now think they have spotted a sure-fire way of confirming the deal to be done.
That’s because the 19-year-old ‘liked’ Romano’s post announcing the details of the agreement.

Carvalho’s move to Liverpool has been rumbling on since the January transfer window. But there has always been a confidence that The Reds would be able to get he deal done, despite interest from Real Madrid (Sport).
Romano claims the announcement will come at the end of the season, out of respect for Fulham. As a result, we may still have to wait a little while for official confirmation.
However, these are certainly very positive signs for Liverpool fans.
With no loan back agreement reportedly present, Carvalho will head straight into Jurgen Klopp’s first-team. Of course he wouldn’t be expected to play a big part immediately, but Liverpool are obviously convinced of the player’s talent.
Fulham were convinced too. The West London club were keen to keep hold of Carvalho following his excellent displays for the first team.
Manager Marco Silva’s thoughts on the teenagers ability were obvious, he called him ‘fantastic’ after a brilliant performance against Millwall earlier in the season via West London Sport.
A potentially superb start to Liverpool’s summer business.
