Clinton Morrison has said that he thinks Jude Bellingham will go on to play for a big Premier League team such as Liverpool.
Morrison was speaking on BBC 5 Live Sport’s Wednesday Night Club (34mins). The former striker predicted that Bellingham would stay at Borussia Dortmund for another year before moving back to England.
“He’ll probably stay at Dortmund for another year, but I think a team like a Liverpool will come and get him sooner rather than later,” said the 42-year-old.

“I want to see him in the Premier League, because he’s going to be a superstar.”
Morrison also thinks that next winter’s World Cup will be a chance for Bellingham to lay down a marker.
“The World Cup could be his time to shine and I do believe he’ll start a lot of matches,” he said.
Back home again
It seems inevitable that Bellingham will eventually return to England to play in the Premier League.
The 18-year-old made a bold move when leaving Birmingham City in 2020. He moved to Germany after just one year of playing first-team football in the Championship.

He had suitors in the Premier League – Manchester United even gave him a tour of their Carrington training ground (BBC Sport).
But Bellingham chose to follow fellow English youngster Jadon Sancho to Dortmund instead. It was a sign of the maturity he possesses that he decided to move away at such a young age.
It has proven to be a masterstroke. His talent means that he could have been playing regularly for a top English club. But chances are that he would be sitting on the bench instead.

At Dortmund he has been able to become a key player before even turning nineteen.
But like Sancho before him, a big money move back home will be on the cards sooner or later. Liverpool have been rumoured to be one of the clubs very keen on bringing him back to these shores.
According to Sport Bild, Liverpool may have to wait until summer 2023 to get their man though.
If Liverpool don’t go all out to sign the teenager, you can be sure that he will run the midfield for one of their domestic rivals for years to come instead.
