Gary Neville says he’s ‘worried’ about Liverpool this season. He expects ‘something dangerous’ from the Reds.
We’re about to move into April and, quite incredibly, Liverpool remain in the chase for every competition. They already have the EFL Cup in the bag, of course, and there are very high hopes over the other three.
But can Liverpool actually bring home the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup? It’s the tallest order and something no team has ever achieved.
Gary Neville, though, is worried that Liverpool could actually do it.
“They’re going to do something dangerous this season and it’s scary for a [Manchester] United fan to say that,” Neville told The Overlap. “I really do worry that they’re going to go and win three or four trophies.”

Yeah, we’d be worried, too. Liverpool just keep winning and will hope to come out of April as favourites for every competition.
The next few weeks dictate that. They’ll have their two Champions League quarter-finals against Benfica either side of a massive Premier League fixture against Manchester City. Their next game after that? The FA Cup semi-final against City.
It’s an unprecedented run that could see Liverpool’s quadruple dream shatter. Or it could see it become stronger than ever.
As Jamie Carragher says, you’d swap the chance at all four for a guarantee of the League or Europe, of course. But maybe that swap isn’t quite as enticing in three weeks. Win the next five and Liverpool will really fancy their chances of winning the lot.
But there’s a long way to go and one bit of terrible fortune could bring the dream crashing down. Liverpool rely on luck for this almost as much as their own skill.
If luck goes their way, though, the Reds really could be celebrating a world-first by the end of the campaign.
