Divock Origi could now leave Liverpool for Inter Milan after looking almost certain to join their city rivals.
That’s according to 90min who claim that the Belgian is now in contact with both Milan clubs about a move.
Origi will leave Liverpool on a free transfer after his contract runs out this summer. 90min claim that 26-year-old was actually offered a contract by Liverpool, but decided he wanted a new challenge.

Milan are still claimed to be ‘frontrunners’ for Origi, while teams from Spain and Germany have also ‘reached out.’
Options galore for Origi
After reports that a move to the seven-time European Cup winners was virtually inevitable, it seems that Origi’s future isn’t as straight-forward as it seemed.
It doesn’t come as a surprise that so many teams should try to sign Liverpool’s cult hero. In terms of value, you won’t find too many better deals than Origi this summer.
Not only does he have a wealth of experience, but he also still has room to improve as well.

It’s a shame that we only ever really saw glimpses of Divock’s true potential in a Liverpool shirt. He had some incredible moments over the years and will leave a legend this summer.
But when having a good run in the team, it often felt as though he was just on the cusp of exploding, though he never fully did.
The right time
It feels like the right time to part ways for Liverpool and Origi. The suggestion that Liverpool in fact offered the striker the chance to stay beyond this summer does come as something of a surprise.

Klopp has long been a fan the Belgian’s quality and personality – he called him ‘exceptional’ after a magnificent Merseyside Derby double in 2019.
But it feels that Liverpool and Origi’s story has now been told. It’ll be interesting to see where he does eventually end up. A move to either of the Milanese giants would be superb to see.
