Trent Alexander-Arnold has posted a picture of his work in the gym as he aims to return from injury for Liverpool.
Posting on Instagram, Trent uploaded a shot of the work he’s doing on the bike at the AXA Training Centre.
Alongside the picture was the caption “The Comeback Kid”. That hopefully suggests that the 23-year-old will soon be back in action for Liverpool.

Get yourself fit and ready for April 10th Trent, that’s all we ask!
Race against time
It’s encouraging that Alexander-Arnold is seemingly doing gym work. But it would still appear to be a race against the clock to have him fit for the big game against Manchester City.
With less than three weeks to go until that huge tie, Liverpool fans will be crossing everything that the right-back is ready in time.

Joe Gomez stepped in for his England colleague during Sunday’s win over Nottingham Forest and the 24-year-old largely did well. But against a side of City’s calibre, you want your best players in their best positions.
Liverpool have a much better chance of winning that potential title-decider with Alexander-Arnold on the pitch.
More injury issues
As the good news comes in about Alexander-Arnold, Naby Keita may have given Liverpool a fresh issue.
As reported on liverpoolfc.com, the Guinean has been recalled to Liverpool after picking up an injury with his national team.

It comes at a frustrating juncture for Keita who has managed to stay fit for a decent chunk of the season so far.
The 27-year-old had been in good form of late and Liverpool could really do with him for the run-in.
Keita’s issue is said to be ‘a knee complaint’. Let’s hope it’s just a precaution and Naby is back available for the big games ahead.
