Young Liverpool goalkeeper Harvey Davies was in first-team training yesterday as Liverpool prepare for their clash with Leeds United tomorrow.
The Liverpool born 18-year-old is yet to play a game for Jurgen Klopp’s side. But he was out to train alongside Alisson, Caoimhin Kelleher and co ahead of the game at Anfield.

Davies is highly rated at Liverpool where he has excelled for the under-19’s team.
He has impressed so much so that Neil Mellor called him ‘outstanding’ after he kept a clean sheet in the 1-0 UEFA Youth League victory over AC Milan last September.
Davies was filmed being beaten by two lovely Ibrahima Konate finishes during yesterday’s training session. But we won’t hold that against him, Ibou appears to have a rocket of a right-foot.
All smiles
Elsewhere in training, The Reds look relaxed as they gear up for a big game.
Beat Leeds and they move to within three points of Champions Manchester City. It would be a huge morale-boost heading into the Carabao Cup final on Sunday.
Luis Diaz was seen showing why Klopp recently said he’d never seen a player smile so much during rondo’s.

Nice to see.
Mohamed Salah was also pictured looking happy. The Egyptian has scored in each of Liverpool’s last two games and will be desperate to add to that against a porous looking Leeds defence.

A big few days
Tomorrow’s game is an opportunity that Liverpool mustn’t let pass them by. It isn’t often that City will drop points and The Reds must make sure they close the gap when they can.
Leeds are having a difficult season and under the lights at Anfield, Liverpool will fancy themselves.
That game is of course followed up with a chance for some silverware on Sunday.
It’s unlikely that Thiago Alcantara will start both games. The 30-year-old could be key to any success Liverpool have this season and Klopp needs to find the balance between playing him and letting him rest.
During yesterday’s session, Thiago could be seen in discussion with the manager.

After being left out of the last couple of squads, Curtis Jones was also pictured in training.
The 21-year-old will be hoping he has done enough during the sessions to show Klopp that he deserves his place back in the matchday squad.

Here’s a few more pictures from yesterday’s training session.
