Leeds United have a firm transfer stance on Raphinha as Liverpool wait in the wings, according to reports. The Brazilian is shining this season.
This comes from the Mirror. They claim that Leeds United do not want to sell Raphinha in January and have long-term plans for the Brazilian.
This comes as Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Manchester City all track Raphinha. Leeds, though, will not let him leave this month.
In fact, it sounds as though Leeds have no plans to sell in the summer, either. They plan to offer him a new contract over the next few months in an attempt to keep Raphinha around.
The idea there seems clear – offer Raphinha the deal and if he rejects it, sell in the summer. It gives Leeds a few more months to turn their season around and convince the winger that Yorkshire is the place to be.
Leeds United don’t wish to sell Raphinha
It’s easy to understand Leeds’ stance. They’re struggling badly this season and selling Raphinha would dramatically decrease their chances of turning that around.

This is a player whose teammate’s describe as an ‘amazing, unbelievable’ talent. They won’t want to lose him on other teams’ terms.
As for Liverpool, it’s easy to see why they’d want Raphinha. While there are still a few things to wait and see on, the Brazilian is a sensational talent who is tearing up the Premier League in a struggling team.
Fabrizio Romano told Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel that Leeds wanted over £60m for Raphinha last summer. That, for us, could still be a fantastic deal if the 25-year-old continues on his current path.
And while it sounds as though a January move is impossible, the summer could see Raphinha at the top of Liverpool’s transfer shortlist.
