Liverpool fans have been crying out for additions to the forward line in recent windows. The Reds are in dire need of reinforcements given the lack of depth and the age of the famed front three. According to reports in the Netherlands, Liverpool want Arnaut Danjuma to replace Sadio Mane.
Front three succession plan
By the start of next season the traditional front three will all be 30-years-old.
The Reds need to start looking at replacements for key stars. We need to rejuvenate soon.
Not only do we need to put a succession plan in place but we need more quality in depth in the side.
As it stands there is something of a drop off in quality after the first four choices for the front three.
The boss should be able to rotate without risking the output of the attack.
Liverpool want Arnaut Danjuma
The Reds are forward planners, they like to get their ducks in a row well in advance.
According to Voetbal International the recruitment team has identified a successor to Sadio Mane.
The outlet has claimed Liverpool want Arnaut Danjuma to replace the Senegal forward.
The Dutch winger signed for Villareal over the summer amid interest from the Reds.
Since his arrival in Spain he’s scored twice in five games for the La Liga side.
VI has reported that Liverpool will be watching Danjuma as he takes on Manchester United in the Champions League tonight.
What RTK has to say
We aren’t mad about this one at all.
The winger is just 24-years-old, the ideal age to come in and establish himself within a couple of years.
Furthermore he will arrive with Champions League experience.
Perhaps most important of all he won’t cost us anywhere near as much as the likes of Federico Chiesa or Kylian Mbappe. His transfer fee and wages would be reasonable.
