Liverpool have some special talents in the academy at the minute. The Reds have been hard at work stacking the youth sides with wonderkids from at home and abroad. The UEFA Youth League is the perfect showcase for them. Some Liverpool fans were wowed by Mateusz Musialowski v Porto.
It’s always cheaper to develop a wonderkid than buy a superstar.
As a result the Reds’ have been diligently identifying top talents from around the globe.
For instance Harvey Elliott arrived in the wake of our European Cup win. He showed what he can do this season before injury derailed his campaign.
Since then the Reds have added Mateusz Musialowski – AKA the Polish Messi.
We’ve also brought in the best 16-year-old in the country, Kaide Gordon.
The future certainly looks bright with the Reds boasting a wealth of young talent to call upon in the coming years.
Mateusz Musialowski v Porto
This week the young Reds took on Porto in the UEFA Youth League.
The hosts went a goal up in the second half through a long range driven effort.
However, Tyler Morton provided a delicious ball for Melkamu Frauendorf to tuck home 10 minutes from time with the game ending 1-1.
Mateusz Musialowski was a standout performer against Porto.
The Polish Messi was a regular threat to the hosts’ defence.
He fired some stinging efforts at the opposition goal and terrorised the home side with his trademark dribbling ability.
Plenty of fans were left stunned by Musialowski v Porto. Kopites are convinced he’ll make it in the first team.
