This week Liverpool breezed into the EFL Cup fourth round. The Reds were in control throughout as they brushed aside Norwich City. We’ve now learned our opponents for the next round. Preston fans have reacted to drawing Liverpool in the EFL Cup.

Norwich City 0-3 Liverpool
The Reds’ third round victory was as routine affair as possible.
Takumi Minamino put the visitors ahead after just four minutes when he smartly seized on a loose ball before swivelling and firing home.
Caoimhin Kelleher kept scores level when he saved a penalty before halftime.
The Canaries lived to regret the miss when Divock Origi headed home our second early in the second half.
Taki rounded off the scoring with a composed finish 10 minutes from time.
The encounter also offered debuts for Kaide Gordon, Conor Bradley and Tyler Morton.
Fans were left impressed with how the trio acquitted themselves throughout the game.
Preston face Liverpool in EFL Cup
The fourth round draw was made last night and for once the Reds got a Championship opponent whilst Manchester City drew West Ham.
Preston North End will host Liverpool in the fourth round of the EFL Cup.
Sepp van den Berg is in line to face his parent club in the tie – presuming there is no law against such a decision.
The club Liverpool signed Ben Davies from will present a very different and much more physical challenge for the Reds’ youngsters.
We can’t wait to see how Kaide Gordon handles himself.
