It’s safe to say the away fans were in good spirits as they watched their side waltz to a 3-0 win.
Takumi Minamino opened the scoring after just four minutes, in the right place at the right time during a corner.
Caoimhin Kelleher produced a fine penalty save to keep the scores level before halftime.
Shortly after the resumption Divock Origi nodded home a fine cross from Kostas Tsimikas.
Then it was Taki’s turn again with the Japan international showing great composure to finish with 10 minutes to go.
Kaide Gordon debut v Norwich City
The night was a landmark occasion for one 16-year-old wonderkid.
Kaide Gordon made his debut v Norwich City and the youngster impressed.
At times he drifted out of the game but whenever he surged with the ball he showed us just what he can do.
In the first half he skipped past a Norwich defender as he cut inside and fired narrowly wide.
After the break he took the ball on the half turn and found Divock Origi with a scintillating pass.
