Report in Spain claims Barcelona want to appoint Jürgen Klopp

Liverpool wouldn’t be Liverpool without Jürgen Klopp. The German manager completely transformed the club’s fortunes since his appointment in 2015. He has given us the best years of many of our lives. One club wants to disrupt that. According to reports in Spain, Barcelona want to appoint Jürgen Klopp.

Turmoil at Barcelona

Barcelona has become a soap opera.

The famous Blaugrana have gone from a European super power to a club in crisis.

Over the summer the La Liga giants were forced to let Lionel Messi go.

A mounting financial burden coupled with sanctions imposed by Javier Tebas left the Catalan side with no choice but to say goodbye to their Argentine icon.

This season has started as poorly as can be expected. Barca are languishing in 8th with two wins and two draws, albeit with fewer games played than the league leaders.

Bayern Munich humiliated Barcelona in Europe, putting three past them on the opening day.

Barcelona want Jürgen Klopp

Ronald Koeman’s days at the Camp Nou could be numbered.

The Dutch coach hasn’t overly impressed since his appointment, although in fairness he boarded a sinking ship.

According to El Nacional, president Joan Laporta wants Barcelona to hire Jürgen Klopp.

The chief has allegedly identified the German as his dream option and he believes that the boss has earned the right to leave Anfield.

The outlet also states that the Barca board would hand Jürgen a three year deal worth around £31m.

What RTK has to say

Not on your nelly.

No chance.

There is no way on this earth that Liverpool would let Jürgen Klopp just walk away to Barcelona, it’s not going to happen.

They can dream all they want, this is just paper talk. He’s staying until at least 2024.
