Who is Conor Bradley?

18-year-old Conor Bradley plays predominantly as a right back for the Reds’ U23s’ side.

Liverpool signed him from Dungannon United in 2019. He immediately impressed staff at the academy.

Since then his performances at age group level have been so impressive that he has already earned three caps for Northern Ireland.

During pre-season he was cited as backup to Trent Alexander-Arnold should Neco Williams leave in search of first team football.

Tonight Jürgen Klopp (or Pep Lijnders) is set to name a youthful lineup in the EFL Cup.

Every Premier League Team's Best Player Now Vs. 7 Years Ago

The Dutch assistant manager has confirmed that Neco Williams will be unavailable for the tie as he continues to recover from injury.

Meanwhile, we expect James Milner to return to the midfield having covered for Trent Alexander-Arnold over the weekend.

Furthermore, Joe Gomez – who has been used at right back – is likely to be used in the centre of the defence.

As a result, all signs point towards Conor Bradley making his Liverpool debut against Norwich City tonight.

What RTK has to say

Time to see what all of the hype is about.

Conor Bradley has plenty of admirers in the academy and his ability is evidenced by his international caps.

The teenager needs to take this opportunity with both hands.

If he puts a shift in he may be able to leapfrog Neco Williams as number two in the pecking order.
