This week Liverpool are back in domestic cup action. The Reds are set to named a youthful and much changed side to face Premier League opposition. Pep Lijnders has confirmed that Curtis Jones will start against Norwich City.

Curtis Jones to start v Norwich City
Pep Lijnders hasn’t been shy talking about team selection.
The assistant manager has confirmed that Caoimhin Kelleher will be starting in goal, highlighting that Alisson has never played in the competition.
Furthermore, the coach stated that Curtis Jones will start against Norwich City, his 50th appearance for the Reds.
The Dutchman added that Jones’ establishment in the first team ‘started’ with his appearances in the EFL Cup.

It’s going to be boss seeing Curtis Jones back in action again.
He was so reliable last season but he’s struggled for minutes thus far.
This term in the EFL Cup will be a massive test for him, he’ll have a focal role in the midfield, it could be his job to drag his team to glory.
