Liverpool are ready to make an offer for Karim Adeyemi as soon as January, according to reports. The Reds aren’t waiting around on this one.
This comes from Transfermarkt. They claim that Liverpool are going to make RB Salzburg an offer for Karim Adeyemi.
That offer would be for a January transfer, suggesting that the Reds have already made up their minds about the teenager. Though, they’re not alone in that.
Barcelona are apparently thinking along the same lines and want to sign Adeyemi in January. Neither club will wait to see how the season pans out – they’ll make a move as soon as they can.
Liverpool ready Karim Adeyemi offer
We’ll see a lot of players labelled the ‘next Erling Haaland’ over the next decade but Adeyemi could literally be just that.
He’s the latest fantastic talent coming out of RB Salzburg, much as Haaland was. And just like the Norwegian, Adeyemi is a teenager who is scoring goals for fun right now.
The German has six goals in six to start the Austrian Bundesliga season. He had another one in a Champions League qualifier. Adeyemi then made his Germany debut this week and, naturally, scored a goal.
We went more in-depth on just who Adeyemi is here. In short, he looks like a fantastic young player.
So we can see why Liverpool would want to make things happen in January. That’s exactly what Dortmund did with Haaland, of course, and that’s essentially the sole reason they got him. The Germans were the only club willing to put money on the table after six months of great form.
Adeyemi is apparently worth that risk, too. If Liverpool really want him, we imagine they can get him – Barcelona are unlikely to be fierce financial competition, after all.
