This season the Reds have sent a host of players out on loan, not quite Chelsea levels but we’re getting there.
Ben Woodburn has joined Hearts for the campaign despite impressing in pre-season.
February signing Ben Davies has headed to Sheffield United.
Meanwhile midfield prodigy Leighton Clarkson has joined Blackburn Rovers.
Sepp van den Berg has also headed for the Championship, the Dutchman has rejoined Preston North End after impressing there last season.
Sepp van den Berg goal for Preston
This week has been quite the week for one of the Reds’ loanees.
Recording breaking Dutch youngster Stepp van den Berg has bagged a goal in back to back games for Preston.
In midweek he netted at the back post as his side beat Morecambe in the EFL Cup.
He followed up his first senior goal with another at the weekend against Swansea.
The youngster expertly brought down a long ball into the box before sharply turning past his marker and firing into the bottom corner.
Fans have been blown away with the loanee’s sudden eye for goal.
He has drawn comparisons to Harry Kane and Preston fans are crying out for him to be signed permanently in the near future.
