Forward signing needed
There is a general consensus that the Reds are short of quality in depth in the final third.
As it stands we only have four effective forwards to occupy three starting roles.
That simply isn’t enough when you’re trying to compete on a number of different fronts.
We need to be able to rest and rotate and we also need competition for places.
At the moment there is no competition and no room for rest because the drop off in quality is so stark.

This weekend saw a thrilling encounter play out at Elland Road.
A packed stadium saw Leeds United draw 2-2 with Everton.
Rafa Benitez’s side went ahead after half an hour when Dominic Calvert-Lewin converted a penalty.
Mateusz Klich equalised after some sloppy defending by Michael Keane.
The Toffees pulled ahead through Demarai Gray in the second half.
However, Raphinha netted a stunning equaliser to break Everton hearts.
The Brazilian curled one into the far corner in emphatic fashion.
