Liverpool are in need of a striker. The Reds are currently short on numbers in the final third and reinforcements are desperately needed. Truth be told; we need an out and out finisher. German football expert Michael Rummenigge has tipped Liverpool to sign Erling Haaland next summer.
Erling Haaland bio
At just 21-years-old Erling Haaland has the world at his feet.
The Norwegian striker has been scoring ridiculous amounts of goals since he was a teenager.
Last term he netted 27 in the league for Borussia Dortmund, he also banged in 10 in the Champions League.
He began this Bundesliga season with two goals and three assists in his first game.
Liverpool tipped to sign Erling Haaland
Next summer the Norwegian is expected to be on the move.
The goal machine has a clause in his contract which makes him available for around £64m in 2022.
Former Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund striker Michael Rummenigge has tipped Liverpool to sign the forward.
Sport1 asked the ex-pro whether Kylian Mbappe and Haaland will dominate football in the coming years, Rummenigge replied:
“Yes. They [Haaland and Mbappé] could get there. We’ll have to wait and see where he goes after this season.
“Real and Barca have financial problems so I could imagine him moving to England. His father used to play there too. I could well imagine Liverpool for Haaland.”
What RTK has to say
Liverpool signing Erling Haaland would be a game changer.
The only excuse for the Reds not bringing a forward in this summer is that they have either the Norwegian or Mbappe lined up for next year.
Otherwise we can’t understand the inaction whilst our rivals strengthen.
Fingers crossed Rummenigge is well connected and has heard something on the grape vine.
