This weekend Liverpool lineup against Norwich for the Reds’ season opener. Jürgen Klopp will go into the game confident after a strong pre-season and Kopites will be hoping a current Red takes on Luis Suarez’s job of terrifying the Canaries. Here is our predicted Liverpool lineup to face Norwich:

Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker
The Brazilian recently signed a new long term deal with the club, he’ll be hoping to reclaim the Golden Glove to show why he deserved such a contract.
Right back: Trent Alexander-Arnold
The Scouser in our team is back at full fitness and he’ll be key to our success this season.
Centre back: Virgil van Dijk
Ok, a bold call. Virgil van Dijk got a good 70 minutes under his belt in the week. That could be enough, maybe. Just maybe.
Centre back: Ibrahima Konate
The Reds big summer signing will slot right in alongside Big Virg, he impressed during pre-season, can he show the same composure in the league?
Left back: Kostas Tsimikas
Andy Robbo is injured, a travesty. Thankfully, the man brought in to back him up last season has stood out in pre-season. Step forward The Greek Scouser.
Defensive midfield: Fabinho
The Lighthouse is crucial to us dominating possession, he’ll keep the opposition pegged back.
Centre midfield: Harvey Elliott
It just wouldn’t surprise us. Jürgen Klopp believes in a meritocracy and Elliott was outstanding in pre-season.
Centre midfield: Naby Keita
Could this be the year? Really? Can we start to dream of the Naby Keita those highlights packages sold us?
Right wing: Mo Salah
The Egyptian King looks lean, determined and hungry. He’ll score.
Left wing: Sadio Mane
Sadio didn’t have his best season last term but he finished strongly. The fans will make the difference for him.
Striker: Diogo Jota
The Portugal forward deserves his starting berth, he’ll be doing battle with Roberto Firmino all season.
