Liverpool’s pre-season is in full swing. Yesterday the Reds took on Athletic Club Bilbao, tonight Jürgen Klopp’s side will face off against Osasuna. One player in particular sood out on Sunday. Some Liverpool fans were stunned by clips of Harvey Elliott v Athletic Club Bilbao.

Around 40,000 fans piled into Anfield yesterday to watch the Reds.
Kick off was delayed by half an hour due to problems with the new ticketing system but the show was worth the wait.
Fans were treated to seeing Virgil van Dijk back on home soil for the first time since the 1st of October last year.
Diogo Jota opened the scoring after just 13 minutes, a well deserved lead.
Alisson Becker was called into action on a couple of occasions but the hosts were on top throughout.
Just before halftime there was the worrying sight of Andy Robertson hobbling off with a nasty ankle injury.
The visitors levelled eight minutes into the second half and that was the final goal of the game.
Despite the match ending a draw there were plenty of positives to take from the tie.

This pre-season has been one for one of the Reds’ brightest youngsters to prove he deserves a place in the first team squad.
Harvey Elliott was a standout performer v Athletic Club Bilbao.
He was hounding players when out of possession, winning the ball back and blocking crosses.
On the ball he was as exciting and direct as ever.
It was an afternoon to show us just why there is so much hype around the 18-year-old.
