Who is Arnaut Danjuma?

24-year-old utility man Arnaut Danjuma joined Bournemouth from Club Brugge in 2019.

Since then he’s established himself as a key player for the South Coast side.

The Dutchman is able to play in a number of positions, Transfermarkt cite him as having been deployed in at least seven different roles during his career.

However, he has spent most of his time playing as a left winger.

Last season he was a star man for the second tier side, scoring 15 and assisting seven in 33 league games.

Liverpool want Arnaut Danjuma

Reports in Spain have stirred up some excitement.

Marca has claimed that Liverpool are interested in signing Arnaut Danjuma.

The outlet has stated that Villareal want to bring the Dutchman in but they face competition from Premier League sides.

According to Marca, it would take around £21m to take him away from Bournemouth.

What RTK has to say

Liverpool moving for Danjuma would be a classic Michael Edwards move.

The sporting director isn’t afraid to bring talent in from the second tier.

We saw Andy Robertson and Gini Wijnaldum sniped from Championship sides and they have gone on to cement their place in Anfield folklore.

The Reds repeating the trick with Danjuma wouldn’t be out of the ordinary, when you consider his versatility and age it is a move which would make sense at the right price.
