Liverpool sign Youri Tielemans by selling Keita and Oxlade-Chamberlain

Liverpool always sell-to-buy. The Reds are intent on keeping the netspend low, even though this is incredibly frustrating for fans whilst our rivals are out spending so freely. According to ESPN, Liverpool are open to offers for Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The duo leaving could see Liverpool have the funds to sign Leicester City star Youri Tielemans.

Liverpool interest in Youri Tielemans

The Reds are shy of a midfielder at the moment.

Jürgen Klopp lost Gini Wijnaldum to PSG on a free transfer this summer.

His loss could be felt keenly if we don’t replace him, he played an incredible amount of minutes during his five-year stint at Anfield.

According to Voetbal24, Liverpool are intent on signing Youri Tielemans but face a £64m price tag.

Meanwhile, The Telegraph has claimed that whilst Jürgen Klopp is an admirer of the Belgian the boss is aware a transfer is unaffordable.

Liverpool open to selling duo

This summer has already seen a host of exits from Anfield.

The likes of Marko Grujic and Harry Wilson have been sold.

According to Mark Ogden for ESPN, Liverpool could also sell Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita.

The Reds are supposedly open to letting the pair go should the ‘right offer’ come in.

The report also states that Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri are facing uncertain futures.

Tielemans funds?

If Liverpool cash in on both Keita and The Ox then we could make a decent dent in any fee for Youri Tielemans.

Whilst we won’t recoup the entire amount we paid for the duo we could certainly rake in a sizeable chunk of cash given Michael Edwards’ negotiating ability.

Liverpool signing Youri Tielemans is unrealistic but only because of money, selling Naby and Oxlade-Chamberlain would very much change that money issue.

Should the duo be on their way then that £64m signing could be on the cards.
