Liverpool are in need of reinforcements up top. The Reds have been chancing it for too long with a thinly stretched forward line. It’s time for quality competition in the attack. Twitter has reacted to somewhat unreliable reports that Liverpool have bid for Federico Chiesa.

Who is Federico Chiesa?
23-years-old and 5ft 9in tall, Federico Chiesa is one of Italy’s most exciting talents.
The winger, son of former Azzurri star Enrico Chiesa, is currently on loan at Juventus with the Serie A giants retaining an option to make the move permanent.
Chiesa came through the youth ranks at Fiorentina and burst onto the top flight scene in as a teenager in 2016.
In October 2020 Juventus brought him in on loan and are likely to pay the £34m to seal the deal.
Last season he netted eight and assisted eight for Juve and over the summer he starred at Euro 2020.
Liverpool bid for Federico Chiesa
This summer the Reds are expected to add depth to their attacking line.
There is little competition up top at the minute with only four players of the necessary quality in the squad.
La Repubblica has claimed that Liverpool have bid £85m for Federico Chiesa.
However, Juventus are said to have swiftly rejected the offer.
We can’t put too much stock into these claims, no matter how much we’d love to believe them.
Chiesa would be a bargain at £85m, he’s going to be one of the top talents of the next decade.
Despite this, the Reds don’t have that sort of money to be throwing around on one player.
Twitter reaction
Fans are skeptical about the report but would be overjoyed if the move happened.
