Liverpool are going to have to strengthen in the transfer market. The Reds are down a key player and other important stars are ageing. Despite all of this, a report has claimed that Liverpool won’t make any further signings and fans are furious.

Liverpool needs
Last season an injury crisis derailed our season but we were also exposed up top.
Jürgen Klopp lost Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip to long term injuries.
This led to a parade of centre back pairings with each lasting just a few games until the end of the season.
Meanwhile the front three appeared fatigued and jaded, complacent and figured out.
Since then we’ve lost key star Gini Wijnaldum on a free transfer.
As a result we need to buy a striker and a midfielder, otherwise we risk falling behind our rivals.
No further Liverpool signings
The Reds have started to bring in some transfer money.
Michael Edwards has sold Marko Grujic to Porto.
The director has also negotiated the sale of Taiwo Awoniyi to Union Berlin.
Most recently we’ve seen Harry Wilson join Fulham in the Championship.
Xherdan Shaqiri’s departure doesn’t appear to be far off.
Whilst Nat Phillips and Neco Williams are also pushing for moves in order to secure first team football.
Despite these sales both actualised and upcoming, The Independent has reported that Liverpool aren’t expecting any further signings.
The Reds signed Ibrahima Konate for £36m at the start of the window and they’re now allegedly done with incoming business.
Fans furious
Understandably fans are furious at the suggestion that there won’t be any further investment in the squad.
We think it’s a bluff but wow, if it isn’t, then it is a huge gamble from the Reds.
