Liverpool could soon sign Bobby Clark from Newcastle United, according to reports. The 16-year-old is supposedly a big talent.
This comes from the Daily Mail. They claim Liverpool are leading the way for Bobby Clark.
Clark is a 16-year-old midfielder who recently turned down an extension at Newcastle United. That naturally alerted several clubs to the situation.
Bayern Munich asked about him, as did Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur. Liverpool, though, appear to have the race in hand.
Clark has long been tipped for the top. He broke into Newcastle’s Under 18 team when he was just 14. That’s almost unheard of.
Liverpool close in on Bobby Clark
Liverpool’s future continues to get exciting. It’s actually quite crazy how many fantastic prospects are currently at the club – it hasn’t been like this since the 90s.
Leading the way is 18-year-old Harvey Elliott, of course – though, only if you no longer count Curtis Jones as a young player.
But beyond that, 17-year-old Mateusz Musialowski looks destined for the first team. 16-year-old Kaide Gordon shone in a friendly earlier this week and has huge hype around him.
Liverpool apparently believe Conor Bradley could be something special, too. He’s already an international, after all.

And that’s just a handful. Owen Beck, Layton Stewart, Leighton Clarkson, Jake Cain – they’re all players with big futures.
Throw in a 22-year-old Trent Alexander-Arnold and things just look exceptionally bright. Caoimhin Kelleher is still only 22!
Now, not every single one of these players will fulfil their potential. But add Clark into the mix and there’s a great chance that two or three really do.
And with that, Liverpool have a core they can build around in the future.
I’ve only just remembered that Ibrahima Konate is 22, too. Liverpool are creating something special here.
