Liverpool are in need of goals. The Reds were lacklustre up top last season, emphasising the need for a hungry young striker to come in and shake things up. According to a report in the Netherlands, Liverpool still have a chance of signing Donyell Malen.

Competition and depth
At the minute the attacking line is stretched too thin.
The Reds don’t have sufficient cover or competition up front.
This has led to the attacking trio being burned out and fatigued.
There is also the danger of complacency creeping in with no competition for places.
As a result Jürgen Klopp needs to inject some fresh blood into the final third.
We need a striker to come in and push Roberto Firmino, providing cover whilst keeping him on his toes.
Liverpool still in for Donyell Malen
One name that keeps popping up is Donyell Malen.
The Dutch striker has been a standout performer for PSV in recent seasons.
Last term the former Arsenal academy star netted 19 goals in the Dutch Eredivisie, he also bagged eight assists.
According to Eindhovens Dagblad, Liverpool are still in the frame for Donyell Malen.
Whilst Borussia Dortmund are said to be leading the race and the Reds are believed to be sat on the fence, we could still swoop in.
The report claims that it would take a bid of £26m to secure the striker’s services.
What RTK has to say
Please.
Liverpool signing Donyell Malen is the perfect move.
He is just 22-years-old, he has years and years to improve.
The Dutchman obviously has massive potential, if he goes to Borussia Dortmund this summer then he could be worth triple his current value in a few years’ time.
