Liverpool are in need of funds. The Reds sell before they buy, this method has proven a success for us in recent seasons. Liverpool have reportedly agreed to sell Taiwo Awoniyi to Union Berlin, edging the Reds’ closer to an incoming signing.

Areas to address
Liverpool need to sign a striker this summer.
Jürgen Klopp is without effective strength in depth in the final third.
This lack of depth has run our attacking line into the ground.
Furthermore, the lack of depth has also caused a complacency which manifested as a severe drop off in output last term.
Meanwhile, the midfield needs reinforcements after Gini Wijnaldum joined PSG on a free transfer this summer.
Dozens of players have been touted as the solution to the Gini problem but nothing has advanced yet.
Liverpool sell Taiwo Awoniyi to Union Berlin
We’ve finally started shipping players out.
According to Goal, Liverpool have agreed a deal to sell Taiwo Awoniyi to Union Berlin.
The Nigerian striker hasn’t made a single appearance for the Reds due to work permit issues.
The £6.5m deal will see the forward rejoin the side he was on loan at last term.
He netted five and assisted two for the German side last season.
Signings edge closer
Liverpool sell before they buy.
Now that we’re finally cashin on players we can expect some incoming moves.
Marko Grujic has also departed the club, leaving in a £10.5m deal.
The money is there now and we’ll rake in even more if we sell the likes of Xherdan Shaqiri, Nat Phillips and Neco Williams.
Fans can finally start getting excited about new signings, they can’t be far off now that our kitty has been boosted.
