Liverpool are in need of midfield reinforcements this summer and Kopites are eager to see in which direction the club will go. We could see a change in system depending on who arrives. According to a Mundo Deportivo journalist, Liverpool are determined to sign Philippe Coutinho.

The Coutinho saga
Back in the day the Reds boasted the fab four.
Mo Salah joined the club and we couldn’t stop scoring goals as he started alongside Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
The quartet wasn’t together long, in January 2018 Barcelona signed Philippe Coutinho in a £142m deal.
Since his switch to Spain his career has spiralled.
He never lived up to expectations at the Camp Nou and ended up being just one of a number of costly mistakes by the La Liga side.
The Brazilian ended up on loan at Bayern Munich at one point, even netting in a humiliation of Barca in the European Cup.
Now it looks as though his time in Spain is up with a move away expected.
Liverpool want Philippe Coutinho
For years a return to Merseyside has been mooted.
According to Mundo Deportivo journalist Francesc Aguilar, Liverpool are keen on re-signing Philippe Coutinho.
The Spanish reporter has claimed that the player’s agent is working hard to secure a move back to England for his client.
Wolves and Everton are said to be interested but Liverpool are believed to be the ‘most determined’ to sign Coutinho.
What RTK has to say
Liverpool bringing Coutinho back to Anfield would be brilliant.
Some wouldn’t have it because of how he left the club.
However, if he was available for a bargain fee then he would be a fantastic signing.
He’s still the same player, he just needs to get his confidence back and we have the best man manager in the game.
Furthermore, bringing him back for a small fee would be a triumph over Barca after years of them pinching our top talents.
