The Reds will take on FC Wacker Innsbruck at 5pm.

Then there will be a 15 minute break before Liverpool play VfB Stuttgart, who the Reds also faced last summer.

Ibrahima Konate debut

Liverpool signed Ibrahima Konate for £36m this summer.

The Frenchman arrived from RB Leipzig after the Reds activated his release clause.

Jürgen Klopp was in desperate need of reinforcements after last season’s struggles with injuries at centre back.

We will see Ibrahima Konate make his Liverpool debut this week.

When asked about the Frenchman’s first game the boss responded:

“Tuesday. He’s had a good rest, had a normal pre-season so far, so yeah, he can play on Tuesday. For Ibou it is important that he gets minutes quickly, that’s what pre-season is for.”

Twitter reacts to Klopp confirmation
