Liverpool are expected to buy a forward this summer. The Reds need to revamp the front line after a difficult season last time out. According to reports in Italy, Liverpool are targeting Domenico Berardi and the player is tempted by a move.

Who is Domenico Berardi?
26-year-old forward Domenico Berardi is a product of the Sassuolo youth system.
The Italian winger has been with the club since he was a kid and he’s been perpetually linked with a move away during his senior career.
It is easy to understand the persistent questions about his future given that Sassuolo’s highest finish in recent times is sixth in Serie A.
Last term he netted 17 goals and assisted eight in just 30 league starts.
Primarily a right forward he is the consummate modern day inside forward, threatening from wide positions.
Liverpool want Domenico Berardi
According to reports in Italy the winger’s future is once again up in the air.
La Stampa, as cited by Sassuolonews has claimed that Liverpool hold an interest in Domenico Berardi.
The outlet has reported that the Reds have set their sights on the Euro 2020 star and that the player is tempted to take a big leap in his career.
However, a deal is only seen as possible if Mo Salah leaves the club this summer due to the two playing in the same position.
What RTK has to say
Liverpool signing Domenico Berardi would be an exciting prospect.
However, we shouldn’t move at the cost of Mo Salah.
If the Reds were to move on the Egyptian King then it’d have to be Kylian Mbappe.
There is no player on the planet apart from the Frenchman who could realistically replace Mo.
