Some transfer sagas are destined to stick around for eternity. The future of France’s golden boy is one such saga. Until he moves we won’t stop hearing about where he may end up. According to Emmanuel Petit, Liverpool could be the best fit for Kylian Mbappe.
Liverpool need a finisher
Right now the Reds are devoid of a natural finisher.
Mo Salah scores heaps of goals but if you think he’s a natural finisher you’re watching a different game.
R Mo misses a lot. A lot. He is an inside forward there to conjure something out of nothing, he creates plenty of chances so inevitably he converts a decent amount of them.
What we need is a proper striker to come in and change our fortunes in front of goal given that last season exposed just how wasteful the Reds can be when coming up against stubborn low blocks.
Liverpool best fit for Kylian Mbappe
This summer sees Kylian Mbappe enter the final year of his deal at PSG.
As it stands he looks set to see out his deal and leave on a free transfer.
According to The Mirror, Liverpool are leading contenders to sign Kylian Mbappe.
Emmanuel Petit has commented on the youngster’s future, telling Goal:
“There are so few clubs in the world that can afford to pay his wages so it’s possible that if he did leave he would come to the Premier League.
“The best fit for him might be Liverpool.”
What RTK has to say
It would be the perfect fit.
Jürgen Klopp and Kylian Mbappe would get along like a house on fire.
Two men who adore the sport, who are the top of their field.
The Frenchman would be adored by the fans, he is desperate for trophies and we could deliver them for him.
Wages are the only issue. We’ll be praying Michael Edwards figures it out.
