Declan Rice in demand

It’s safe to say that Declan Rice is one of the most in demand midfielders on the planet.

The England star has risen to fame following his emergence from the West Ham youth ranks.

The past few seasons have established him as one of the brightest midfield prospects in the game.

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City are all interested in Declan Rice.

The report states that the Hammers would demand a fee of around £90m for their wonderkid dynamo.

Liverpool should sign Declan Rice

An ‘in the know‘ source recently claimed Liverpool hold an interest in Declan Rice.

The Reds are in the market for a midfielder following Gini Wijnaldum’s departure.

Paolo Di Canio reckons Liverpool would suit Rice, the Hammers legend told talkSPORT:

“There have been suggestions that Declan Rice is a target for Liverpool and he would be a good fit for them. Liverpool like central midfield players who work hard.

“The kind of players Liverpool need are players like Rice, hard-working midfield players who get the ball forward, make tackles, win the ball and keep it quite simple.

“He’s similar to Jordan Henderson in that way. So if he wants to come to Liverpool, he has the right profile for them.”

What RTK has to say

Liverpool signing Rice simply isn’t on the cards.

We need to bring in a top class attacker, we can skimp more on a midfielder.

The Reds simply don’t have the £90m to beat the likes of Chelsea to his signature.

He’s going to be one for the mega rich freespenders to fight over.
