Liverpool have plenty of transfer business to do this summer. There’ll be more sales than signings and Michael Edwards will be hard at work. Some Liverpool fans have been swooning over Ibrahima Konate after the first summer signing unveiled his new kit to his childhood friends.

Why Liverpool needed a centre back
Last summer the Reds sold Dejan Lovren without replacing him.
We all thought it was a gamble and the gamble backfired within weeks.
Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez were ruled out for the season towards the very start of the campaign.
Joel Matip was injured as ever and he too was ruled out for the duration in January.
We ended up playing players out of position and resorting to youth stars.
All of the injuries piling up pointed to the urgent need to sign a centre back.
Liverpool sign Ibrahima Konate
As a result Liverpool signed Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig.
The Reds stumped up £36m to bring the Frenchman to Anfield from the German side.
The 22-year-old is widely regarded as one of the brightest centre back prospects in Europe.
Despite playing second fiddle to Dayot Upamecano in the past year many coaches reportedly believe the new Reds’ signing is the superior prospect of the two.
This week Konate revealed his new Liverpool shirt to his friends back home.
The video went viral on Liverpool Twitter and fans have been swooning over the wholesome moment.
