Liverpool are going to move on a number of fringe players this summer. The Reds are in desperate need of funds to finance improvements to the squad. According to the Liverpool ECHO, Liam Millar is close to a move to Basel after the Reds accepted a second bid.

21-year-old wide forward Liam Millar is a fully fledged international having made 11 appearances for Canada.
The youngster joined the Reds in 2016 and impressed at every academy level.
However, he struggled to find a way into the first team and has instead been sent on loan to Kilmarnock and Charlton Athletic.
Last season he netted two and assisted six for the Addicks.

This summer will see Michael Edwards cash in on a number of fringe players.
One such man to leave is the Reds’ U23s Canadian international.
According to the Liverpool ECHO, Liam Millar is set to join Basel.
Liverpool have accepted a seven-figure bid for the youngster after rejecting an initial offer at the start of the week.
The Swiss side are able to offer the youngster Europa Conference League football.
