Liverpool are set for a busy summer transfer window. The Reds have plenty of fringe players bound to attract attention and they’ll raise funds for Michael Edwards’ transfer plans. Fans have reacted to news that Brighton and Burnley want to sign Nat Phillips.

Potential Liverpool sales
The Reds have plenty of fringe players who could move on this summer.
Michael Edwards will be looking to trim the fat in order to raise funds for incoming signings.
For example Xherdan Shaqiri will leave according to a number of reports. The Swiss international was expected to move last summer but no move materialised.
Furthermore there could be exits for Harry Wilson and Divock Origi with neither likely to play much of a part next season if they stayed.
Brighton and Burnley want Nat Phillips
Last term there was a centre back crisis at Liverpool.
The Reds lost every single senior member of the centre of the defence.
As a result plenty of backup options were called into service.
One such backup was the Bolton Baresi.
After 17 appearances in the Premier League last term the centre back is understood to be looking for more first team football.
Brighton and Burnley want to sign Nat Phillips according to Goal.
The report says that the Reds would be looking for a fee similar to the £20m Stoke have been asking for Nathan Collins.
Given the Bolton Baresi’s demonstrable top flight experience that would be a fair ask.
Twitter reacts to Nat Phillips transfer news
Plenty of Kopites would hate to see the hero leave the club after the bad luck we had with injuries last season.
