Dusan Vlahovic would be a starter at Liverpool says Corvino

Liverpool are in need of a striker signing. The Reds have been short of a lethal touch up top in recent months. It’s time for an out and out forward to come in. According to Pantaleo Corvino, Dusan Vlahovic would be a starter at Liverpool.

Liverpool striker needed

Roberto Firmino has done an admirable job as the Reds’ false nine.

He has linked up play and terrified opposition with his deft movement.

However, the time has come to bring in a lethal striker, a traditional number nine.

From January onwards the goals dried up at Liverpool.

The front three looked tired and figured out, hence the urgent need to shake things up ahead of next season.

Donyell Malen has been tipped as a potential solution to the Reds’ attacking issues.

Dusan Vlahovic is another being linked with Liveprool.

Tuttosport recently claimed that the Reds are keen on the 21-year-old Serbian striker who netted 21 goals last season.

The outlet cited a fee of at least £43m to take the forward from Fiorentina.

In a recent interview with Tuttosport, Lecce director of football said of Vlahovic:

“Vlahovic is a starter. Quality has no age. Vlahovic could now play as a center forward for both Juventus and Liverpool or Tottenham.”

What RTK has to say

Tuttosport describe Corvino as an ‘expert transfer market man’, so we’ll be assuming he knows his onions.

The Reds are in need of a striker and this Serbian youngster could be the next best thing.

He’s been tipped to reach Erling Haaland levels in the near future, should we make the expensive gamble?
