Liverpool are going to be in the market for a forward this summer. The Reds are in dire need of an addition after a disappointing 2020/21 campaign. Reported Liverpool target Domenico Berardi has previously said he wants to sign for the Reds.

Liverpool want Domenico Berard
Last season saw a massive drop off in output from the attacking three.
Jürgen Klopp’s usually reliable trio looked fatigued and figured out from January onwards.
As a result the Reds are expected to sign a forward before next season.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport Liverpool are targeting Domenico Berardi.
The outlet has reported that a move to the Premier League is increasingly likely for the 26-year-old winger and he could go for a fee of around £43m.
Domenico Berardi on Liverpool move
In 2019 there was plenty of interest in the Sassuolo forward.
A move to Milan was thought to be in the offing but he ended up staying put.
At the time The Mail quoted Domenico Berardi as saying he would love a move to Liverpool:
“If an offer arrives, be it from Milan or another club, I will evaluate it.
“If I hear that it is the right proposal, to be taken on the fly, this time I will say to Sassuolo: ‘I’ll take it.’
“Being able to choose, I would play in Liverpool. Changing remains difficult for me, but it no longer frightens me, I would do it.
“The next goal is to play in Europe, but at a club where I can be used a lot, if not always. That is my priority.”
What RTK has to say
Liverpool moving for Berardi would make sense but it would be a risk.
£43m is quite a hefty fee and we’re always wary of Italian signings, for some reason they don’t tend to work out for us.
However, Mo Salah was able to swap Serie A for the Premier League. Why not Berardi as well?
