Caoimhin Kelleher season

The 2020/21 season saw Caoimhin Kelleher promoted to number two in the senior squad.

The Irishman took the starting berth in Alisson’s absence and he impressed consistently.

He kept a clean sheet against Ajax, earning a 7.88 WhoScored rating for the performance.

Caoimhin’s promotion gave Kopites plenty of hope given how many times Adrian had let us down in the past.

Caoimhin Kelleher wanted by Ipswich

This summer could see the 22-year-old sent out on loan.

The Daily Mail reported recently that the Reds will send him out as they see regular first team minutes as crucial for his development.

As a result Adrian will be given a contract extension with his current deal expiring this summer.

TWTD has reported that Caoimhin Keller is a target for Ipswich Town on loan.

The Blues current first choice Tomas Holy will allegedly be moved on.

Liverpool fans gutted

Some Liverpool fans will be gutted by the news.

This is because many would rather that the Irishman stayed as our number two rather than Adrian.

We saw this when recently Kopites made their feelings clear on the matter when the Daily Mail’s story broke.

However, a loan move is in Kelleher’s long term interest.
