Despite being hotly linked with Barcelona, Gini Wijnaldum will sign for PSG when his Liverpool contract ends next month.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that the French side hijacked a deal that Barca believed they had all but sewn up.
Wijnaldum seemingly reached an agreement with the Catalans two weeks ago and was set to have his medical in the Holland Euro 2020 camp.
However, PSG came in with a late move and offered him twice the money that Barcelona did.
The 30-year-old is now joining the Parisiens once his Anfield contract expires on July 1.

While Barcelona would have been a good fit for Wijnaldum, PSG should suit him even better.
Wijnaldum the midfielder that PSG have been lacking
PSG were always going to spend big this summer in order to regain a Ligue 1 crown that they lost to Lille in 2020/21.
It came as a huge shock to see them lose out on the title having dominated the division for so long.
While they have world-class attackers like Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, Mauricio Pochettino’s side lack real quality in midfield.
Aside from Marco Verratti, they do not possess many genuinely top-class players in the centre of the park.
Leandro Paredes, Idrissa Gueye and Ander Herrera are all good players, but they all focus too much on defending.
Meanwhile, Rafinha, the brother of Liverpool’s Thiago, is extremely talented but rarely fit.
Wijnaldum will bring a do-it-all ability in midfield, as well as an unmatched fitness record. He also has Champions League-winning experience, so can help PSG make a charge for the one trophy they really want.
He can play as a lone No 6, as part of a double-pivot or as a goal-scoring No 10.
Pochettino may want to play him in a similar role to the one he played at Liverpool and have him as a defence-minded No 8 in order to give Mbappe and Neymar freedom.
No matter what the ex-Spurs boss wants from his midfield, Wijnaldum can give it to him.
He will be sorely missed in Liverpool.
