Liverpool are in the market for a midfielder this summer – we hope. The Reds will surely go for the safe option and replace Gini Wijnaldum rather than just praying for no fitness issues next term. Liverpool should pursue Aurelien Tchouameni, we can’t let Chelsea sign him unchallenged.
We can’t allow Gini Wijnaldum to leave without being replaced.
The Reds midfield is notoriously injury prone, apart from the Dutchman.
We’ve seen Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain ruled out for lengthy spells in recent years.
Meanwhile Gini has played nearly every game in the Premier League for five seasons in a row.

His exit means we need to bring in someone to replace him, if we don’t we could risk another injury crisis destabilising us.
Liverpool should pursue Aurelien Tchouameni
The Reds have been linked with dozens of replacements but one name hasn’t cropped up yet.
Liverpool should look at Aurelien Tchouameni.
The 21-year-old French midfielder has been linked with Chelsea with outlets such as Goal reporting on the West London side’s interest.
At his young age he’s become undroppable from a successful Monaco midfield.
He played 36 times in Ligue 1 this season with two goals and three assists not a poor return for his age and even more impressive when you consider the defensive work he’s asked to do.
The midfielder was a star of the show when France were knocked out of the U21 Euros by the Netherlands, his confident, striding runs on the ball caught the eye.
Given his age his potential is enormous and right now it looks as though the Chels have a free run at him, Liverpool can’t let them sign Aurelien Tchouameni unchallenged.
