Liverpool have got to sign a striker this summer. The Reds are being linked with all and sundry, the club may have been paying attention when their latest centre back signing was in action this week. Stan Collymore previously backed Liverpool to sign Myron Boadu, the striker just put two past Ibrahima Konate.
This summer should see a shake up up top.
The Reds need to rejuvenate the front line with a signing or two.
We need to move on Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri, two nice fellas who just aren’t up to the task.
Jürgen Klopp needs to bring in a lethal finisher to provide competition up top, someone to mop u the dozens of chances we are currently wasting.
Liverpool backed to sign Myron Boadu
Back in March an ex-Red tweeted his shortlist of attacking options.
Stan Collymore said that Liverpool should be looking at Myron Boadu at AZ Alkmaar.
The former Anfield forward insisted that coaches have been raving about the 20-year-old forward and it’s easy to see why.
The youngster finished with 15 goals in the league this season, not a bad return given his age.
Myron Boadu beats Ibrahima Konate
Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign Ibrahima Konate this summer.
Kopites got a glimpse of him in action this week as France took on the Netherlands in the Euro U21s.
The French were tipped to win the competition but they crashed out in the quarters.
Myron Boadu scored twice past Ibrahima Konate and the France defence.
Though we cannot fault our new signing for either goal really.
The first saw his left back lazily leaving the box playing Boadu onside.
The second goal saw Dayot Upamecano well out of position.
Hopefully the Reds’ scouts were paying attention, maybe Liverpool will be tempted by Myron Boadu after such an exceptional performance.
