Liverpool need to sign a striker this summer. The Reds are short of a lethal finisher and as a result a forward coming in appears inevitable. Reported Liverpool target Donyell Malen had a sterling season with PSV, he’d be a cracking signing.

Liverpool need a striker
At the moment there is no competition for Roberto Firmino.
The Brazilian has been our undisputed number nine for six years now.
Despite all of his qualities he isn’t a natural, out and out striker, a true finisher.
This season has seen Mo Salah shoulder most of the attacking burden once again.
Liverpool need to sign a striker to ease the responsibility on Salah and provide competition for Firmino.
Liverpool linked with Donyell Malen
Among the dozens of names being touted as a potential signing is an ex-Arsenal forward.
Voetbal International have claimed previously that Liverpool are leading the race for Donyell Malen.
The Reds would allegedly have to pay up to £25m for the PSV striker.
Outstanding season
This has been a vintage campaign for Malen and one which has added to his growing reputation.
The Dutch forward netted 19 goals an assisted eight as PSV finished second behind Ajax.
At just 22-years-old those are some pretty impressive numbers.
Given the player’s age and his lethal touch he would be the ideal signing for Liverpool, particularly if he’ll only cost £25m.
We need someone who can challenge Firmino and eventually take his place, Malen could well be that man.
