Liverpool are going to have to get a move on in the transfer market. The Reds have some important signings to make before the start of next season. Whilst centre back is obviously a priority we also need to reinforce the midfield. Liverpool must have a Gini Wijnaldum replacement lined up otherwise his exit is a huge risk.

Areas of concern
The Reds need to sign a new spine, not necessarily of starters but we do need a new centre back, centre midfielder and striker.
Jürgen Klopp’s title defence was derailed by injuries at centre back this season and as a result we expect a defender to be brought in.
Meanwhile the front three were wasteful for the best part of the season, exposing the lack of a natural, clinical striker in the ranks.
The midfield is set to be left short by the impending departure of Gini Wijnaldum
Gini Wijnaldum exit
This Sunday saw a Liverpool legend play his last game for the club.
Gini Wijnaldum captained the side as the Reds beat Crystal Palace 2-0 to secure Champions League football on the final day.
Our Dutch midfielder’s contract expires at the end of the summer and no new deal appears to be in the offing.
The 30-year-old understandably wants a pay hike to reflect his importance to the side.
Liverpool must have Gini Wijnaldum replacement ready
The ease with which we’ve let one our key players go must mean something.
No player has played more games in Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool midfield than Gini.
Liverpool must surely have a replacement for Gini Wijnaldum lined up by now.
Otherwise negotiations to keep him at the club would’ve been more urgent and likely successful eventually.
The Reds must know what they’re doing, if they don’t then we could be a key player light next season.
