Liverpool need to sign a striker this summer, we can’t get away from that. The Reds have been woeful in front of goal of late and signing a striker now appears to be an inevitability. Reported Liverpool target Patson Daka shone again this weekend, notching a goal and two assists.

This season has seen a dramatic drop off in output from the front three.
An attacking trio once so formidable are now looking tired and out of ideas.
James Pearce recently told the Red Agenda Podcast that he has ‘no doubt’ that Liverpool will look to sign a striker over the summer in order to ease the burden on Mo Salah.

Arguably the best value for money target is playing in Austria.
Salzburger Nachrichten reported that Liverpool are one of a number of clubs interested in Patson Daka.
The outlet claimed that the Reds would have to pay as little as £17m for the striker.
Patson Daka impresses again
This weekend just gone saw yet another standout showing from the 22-year-old Zambian.
The striker scored one and assisted two as Red Bull Salzburg beat LASK 5-2 away from home.
His performance brought his tally for the season to 27 league goals in 27 league games with seven assists along the way.
This was just another performance which shows why Daka is a bargain waiting to happen for some top side.
Given the funds the Reds are working with this summer we wouldn’t be surprised if Liverpool swooped for Patson Daka in the coming weeks.
