Throughout the season he’s pulled the strings in the middle for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Over 36 games in the Premier League he’s scored six and assisted four, earning a 7.06 WhoScored rating for his efforts.
His persistent availability would be a massive bonus for the Reds.
Finding a player who can play as frequently as Gini will be of the utmost importance, availability is one of the midfielder’s greatest strengths.
If Liverpool move for Youri Tielemans they aren’t only getting a player constantly available they are also bagging a creative threat and someone who can score from 30 yards against Chelsea in a cup final – there’s nothing more Kopites could ask for.
