Liverpool’s hopes of finishing in the top four are alive and well after an impressive week for the Reds. Jürgen Klopp’s side recorded to vital victories and our Egyptian King scored in both. Garth Crooks has heaped praise on Mo Salah for his performances this last week.

Mo Salah a week in goals
Liverpool have to win each of their remaining games in order to secure a top four finish.
The Reds faced two tough tests last week: trips to Old Trafford and The Hawthorns.
Jürgen Klopp’s side passed the first with flying colours and just about scraped through the second.
On Thursday we beat Manchester United 4-2, Diogo Jota opened the Reds’ scoring before Roberto Firmino netted twice.
The game at 3-2 to the visitors with pressure building, Mo Salah netted a clincher for Liverpool in the 90th minute.
Next was a trip to West Brom with Sam Allardyce unbeaten in five games against Jürgen Klopp.
The Baggies opened the scoring but it was Mo Salah who levelled just after the half hour mark, Alisson Becker rounding off the scoring.
Garth Crooks on Mo Salah
The Egyptian King has come under fire recently for occasionally being a bit too selfish.
Garth Crooks was one of those to charge Mo Salah with being a bit too greedy, however, the BBC analyst had praise for him this week:
“[Man United away] was the best performance I’ve seen from Mohamed Salah for some time.
“Then against West Brom on Sunday, they showed patience and class. Salah is a different player when he plays for the team and can be a delight to watch.
“However, I see a different player when I get the feeling he’s chasing the Golden Boot. His game becomes selfish in crucial parts of the pitch. Not so against United or West Brom. When he is in this mood, he is a different class.”
What RTK has to say
Mo Salah deserves all the praise he gets at the moment.
His goal against West Brom was something special and he was magnificent against United.
When he’s on song he’s unstoppable, he’s just lethal. Hopefully that Golden Boot keeps him firing for our last two games.
